Board meetings are open to the public. These guidelines help ensure meetings remain secure, accessible, and orderly.

HOW TO JOIN

• Use the official Zoom link provided by the District

• Enter the meeting password if required

• You will be placed in a Waiting Room before admission

• Admission is controlled by District staff or the Board of Directors

ENTRY CONFIRMATION (SECURITY PROCESS)

To help maintain meeting security and prevent unauthorized or automated access:

You may be asked to:

• State your name for entry

• Confirm your screen name for clarity

• Confirm you are joining the public Board meeting

This is a brief administrative step and does not prevent public attendance.

NAME DISPLAY

• Please use your real first and last name

• Avoid anonymous or unclear screen names

• You may be asked to confirm your name before participating

PUBLIC COMMENT / SPEAKING

If you wish to speak:

• Use the “Raise Hand” feature

• Wait to be recognized by District staff or the Board of Directors

• State your name before speaking

MEETING SECURITY

To maintain meeting integrity:

• Participants may be reviewed prior to admission

• Entries that cannot be reasonably identified may be delayed

• Suspicious or automated entries may be removed

PARTICIPATION ETIQUETTE

• Remain muted unless recognized

• Video may be requested when speaking for confirmation

• Follow instructions from District staff or the Board of Directors
